Family Addiction Support Network: Family Therapeutic RISE Programmes Online

The Family Addiction Support Network (FASN) are planning to start their next RISE family therapeutic programmes online on Thursday, 29th September, Tuesday 4th October and Wednesday 5th October 2022. This is a very positive programme for family members in Louth and Meath affected by a loved one’s continued substance use.

Louth Meath Domestic Abuse Resource Pack Ebook

On July 1st 2022, Louth and Meath CYPSCs together with Tusla Louth Meath and its interagency Domestic Violence Partners launched a Resource Pack on Domestic Abuse. This initiative was led by the Louth and Meath CYPSC’s Safe and Protected from Harm sub groups in the respective counties in line with the Children and Young People’s Plans objectives to increase the knowledge and skills among practitioners on the impact of Domestic Abuse on children, young people and their families.

Trim Family Resource Centre: Level Up Programme September 2022

The Level Up programme for young people to develop important life skills and workplace competencies will be back in Trim FRC from September 2022.  The programme can be accessed by young people living in Trim and South Meath area aged 16 to 24 who are currently out of employment or education and are in need of extra support. The programme seeks to bridge the gap between early school leaving and further training, education or employment pathways. Level Up aims to develop the confidence, competence and resilience among young people in order to support them in progressing into exploring work place competencies. After completion of group work and one to one sessions with Level Up Coordinator and tutors, all participants will be supported to access a month’s work experience locally in order to enhance work based learning.
